Why Mosquitos Circle Over Your Head
1. Female Mosquitoes find air waste very attractive.
As a human being, you inhale air and exhale carbon dioxide which attracts mosquitoes. So heavy exhales at the right time may just find a million or more mosquitos trying to elevate you off the floor.
2. Male Mosquitos are forming a Mating Party
Did you know that male mosquitoes don't bite? But are still able to detect high levels of carbon dioxide concentrations. Male mosquitos will often form mating swarms (Not to mate with you) They will find a likeable feature of the landscape to use. That can be a tall tree, a large animal or the big head of a person. Once they pick out that sweet spot, they will begin to form their circle around it. The mosquitos will move in conjunction with the animal or the head of a person. Once a female or female mosquitoes enter the circle, WHAM! she gets pregnant. Then your hair maybecome the breeding ground for little baby biters! Ok, skip the hair becoming the breeding ground. But once a female enters that circle, she is captured by the lucky male and mating occurs.

Mosquitos may form circle above your head to simple call other mosquitoes to a particular spot to form a posse for an attack. Maybe it is the case where one mosquito got jumped and now he is collecting the rest of his family to go to war.
