Jesus Christ Donkey

Jesus Christ Donkey
Jesus Christ Donkey
The donkey is not an animal that get a lot of recognition worldwide. Even though it is apart of the equine family, it is like the bad stepchild nobody cares about. The most popular equine of course is the horse, as it is loved for its devotion, beauty, strength and speed. But what qualities does a Donkey have? Why did Jesus Christ decide to ride a Donkey into Jerusalem and not a beautiful strong horse? Well, there is much more to the donkey that meets the eye. Let us look at a few speculations as to why Jesus chose a donkey instead of a horse to ride into Jerusalem.

1. Humble Yet Brave
Unlike horses which normally have a boastful and proud posture, donkeys seems to be much more humble. But The donkey has a lot of heart under neath that fur. Donkeys aren't afraid to run off vermin or even the house dog away from it's barn. Donkeys will chase away coyotes, dogs, wild pigs and other small animals. Not many horses will stand up to anything that makes noise. Jesus knew that donkeys have a humble and brave heart and preferred to be riding this slow yet paced animal.

2. Wonderful Temperament
The nature of the donkey seems to be of a quiet one. They do not like a lot of noises around them and prefer an environment which is soothing and mellow. Donkeys seem to like order. A trait of the creator himself. Donkeys possess soft velvet muzzles and are capable of even taking the smallest treat from your hand without touching your fingers.

3. Great Footing
Tell me, have you ever seen someone trying to get around a narrow mountain side using a horse? If they do, they probably haven't met the Donkey. Donkeys are sure footed animals and well balanced.Jesus himself understood this and used a donkey.

Jesus Was No War Monger
Jesus rode a donkey as a symbol of peace. His entry into Jerusalem on a donkey symbolizes total humbleness and peace. The Prince of peace to be exact. He boasted no power, no greatness, just the word of the living God and love for the people. His arrival on the donkey made the regular people see Jesus as one of them and not one who is high and might in the sight of man.

Could he have Chosen a Horse?
Well, Jesus could have chosen whatever beast he prayed for his father to give him, but as a man of true goodness, he had to choose an animal which represented that true goodness. No horse or camel could have possessed the beautiful temperament of the Donkey.

Plant Based Horse Minerals Better for Horse.

When I was advised to give my horse Clay a mineral supplement to improve his health and well being, I decided I wanted to take a natural approach. Of all the minerals I found for horses most were of a metallic nature, which was going against the way I want to approach supplementing Clay.

The word Metallic is enough to turn me off feeding these minerals to my horse, I wanted something more natural. My research brought me to a brand of horse minerals that are plant based and all natural. With 74 plus plant ingredients to keep any horse healthy and happy. See the list of Plant Minerals below.
List of Premium Horse Minerals
  • Sea Plants
  • Kelp
  • Age Old Healing Plants and Herbs
  • Colloidal Minerals
  • Biotin
  • Moringa Powder
  • MSM Plant Sulphur
  • Clay Dolomite
  • Clay Calcium Bentonite
  • Diatomite
Natural plant minerals are better for horses digestive system and also absorb easier than non plant derived minerals. Eating natural, healthy products can improve human well being, so should the same not apply to our animals?

Humans usually don't go well on high starch, or high sugar, which lead to diseases like diabetes. Diabetes can raise the risk of heart attack or stroke by 50%. If we can improve a horse diet with healthy feed and natural supplements, it has to be better than feeding them unhealthy feed filled with sugar and starch.

If humans can get a disease like diabetes, it is crazy to think that a horse would be immuned to this. Horses shouldn't have too much sugar, it can lead to laminitis and even insulin resistance, much like a person with type 2 diabetes. It's important for us to give our horses a well balanced diet, so they stay gut healthy and avoid diseases such as insulin resistance and laminitis.

Minerals play an important part in a horses overall health and in my opinion, natural minerals are a better choice to help a horses digestive system and overall well being. Horses can't tell us how they feel or what is causing them pain and discomfort but they can show us by either physical, emotional or by their overall behaviour. Most bad behaviour by a horse is caused by pain, or if they are uncomfortable, if we don't listen to them these behaviours will only get worse and could cause harm to the horse owner. To stop this from happening, a well balanced diet is essential... listen to your horse.

Horse Lovers
Horses Running to Horse lovers
Beautiful and strong with elegance, firm like iron
Nothing can compare to the beauty of a stallion
Galloping and nae, mane flashing in the wind
The leader of the pack, a horse lovers win
Mare after mare, beauty and power
A horse lovers paradise

Grazing on the short grass
Tails fanning up high and low
This black beauty  has a passionate glow
Get your camera out, the horse lover snaps a few pictures
Of a white mare with brown streaks on her legs marching, the stallion is with her
The thunderous hooves, blazing down the beyond.
Nothing about horses are common

Come fellow horse lovers
Come and make joy with the equine
There are stallions, mares and fillys of all kind
Come horse lovers
I am sure you will find one to your liking
Such beautiful creatures,
Horses and horse lovers, together like a peanut butter sandwich.

You cannot real consider yourself to be a true horse lover if you don't have at least "five" of the listed items below which all horse lovers would naturally seek out.

1. Horse - Cat lovers own cats, dog lovers own dogs. So naturally if you love horses you should go out and seek to own one. We know horses are not cheap to buy and require outdoor spaces to maintain healthy. But you can own a horse and rent stable space and ensure that your equine is being properly cared for.

2. Horse Shoe - If you don't have a horse, all horse lovers must have a horse shoe hanging on their door somewhere to ward off evil necromancers and ghouls and demons. Well, maybe I had gone too far with the ward of evil stuff. But it is believed that horseshoe brings good look and peace to homes.

Why Zebras Are Not Domesticated Like Horses

9/15/2017

Zebra Not Domesticated
Zebra Not Domesticated
Zebras Are Not Domesticated Like Horses.
Zebras are part of the equine family. The equine family consist of horses, donkeys, mules, jackass, ponies etc. Zebras and horses do have great physical resemblance, yet the zebra is not domesticated and ridden as one would do a horse.

Actually, one of the main reasons as to why horses were domesticated rather than zebras is because of how zebras interact with their herd compared to horses.
Horse herds have some sort of hierarchy with a lead mare at the top that every horse follows. It's her job to keep watch over the herd, so she'll keep her eye out for predators, and also keep the other horses in line. In return, the other horses trust her judgement and follow her. Because of this, if the lead mare gets caught then the herd follows.

Zebras, however do not have this hierarchy and their herds are just massive groups that have no sort of leader. If you capture one zebra, none of the others will follow. The only exception is if it has a foal. So really it came down to workload. If you capture one horse, you get the entire herd. You capture one zebra, you get one or two zebras at best.

Zebras may not be as cooperative as Horses
  • You can tame and train a horse easily to ride stunt and do various horsey tricks, but not many people have had that kind of success with the black and white equine. It is said that when it comes on to stubbornness in the equine world. The Zebra makes the  an angry mule appear docile and cooperative.

Zebras Are Too Stocky For Racing
  • Zebras do not have the sheer strength of horses and simply do not make good race animals. You would have more luck racing on mules than on the back of a zebra.

Zebra numbers are not as plenty as Horses.
  • Zebras are scarce right across continents, and apart from being roasted and barbecues by lions and other big cats, they are also hunted by man for their black and white hide.

Zebras do not have a lot of kinds.
  • Take a horse for instance. There are so many species of horses. There is even a tiny horse for Disney princesses and also the little prince and princess in our lives. It is called the pony. Horses comes in various shape, size, colors, and intelligence and strength. The options are just too much to pick from unlike the zebra.

The seats give a closer contact to the horse and permit more body flexibility yet they are not as secure as a universally useful saddle for instance. Horses that have backs that are hard to fit seats to could profit by a treeless seat, as could riders who feel uncomfortable with their position in a full seat. Best Methods to Use For Horse Training

Training Horse
Horse Training
Being a "Horse Whisperer" has long been considered a difficult skill to learn. It is a true wonder how these people are able to calm down a horse, train them and effectively communicate with them. A secret to this, however, is not rocket science - it is all in the "timing": the skill of knowing when to command and knowing when to release the pressure and just leave the horse to learn on his own and build self-esteem.

Besides skills, like feet handling and halter training, one of the two schools of thought when it comes to horse training involves giving the horses adequate freedom. This method focuses on horses' natural instincts in their growth. Training horses using this method will require you to not put your hands on them to develop herd dynamics. Similar to a child in school, It is important for you, the teacher, to allow some breathing room and to pull back from overwhelming your student.
The Basic Facts You Need to Know Before Training a Young Horse

Though the natural horse training will require you to do almost nothing, it is still important to know about the basic things in this kind of drill. The natural training is suitable for young horses. When they reach 2 to 3 years, you can slowly teach them some basics. This is important because good timing and feel about the horses is also necessary.

You can just leave your horse roaming the farm at first, but you can also conduct simple training for starters. Simply make sure to keep your training activities interesting and fun to do. Even if your horse is already undergoing training, it still needs to be close to its mother. This calms young horses down and makes them feel more at ease while in the training. And finally, when training your horse, explore which touches it doesn't like and which touches it enjoys, this will help you figure out how to handle your horse better.

Natural Training Tricks and Techniques You Must Know for Young Horses

Horse training can mean a lot of things. But it is totally worthless if you know nothing about different tricks and techniques you could use. The length of your training session with your horse will be dependent on its age. If you are dealing with a younger horse, it is recommended that the session is shorter than the adult horses.

You need to learn first the different methods of learning which are through making associations with uncontrollable factors and finally through punishment and reinforcement methods. And while the reward and punishment method is very effective, you have to weigh how much reward or punishment will be most effective to use. Too much reward will spoil your horse and too much punishment will lead to your horse's pain, fear and frustration, and thus will suppress its learning capability.

Before you decide to leave your horse during training, learn as much as you can about your horse first. Ascertain your horse's mood by looking at its movements. When its head is held up, it means that it is uptight. If its head is low, it means that your horse is relaxed. This will also be your telltale sign if your horse is ready to be trained.

While it is an important rule to know strategies of handling your horse, it is also necessary that you keep your emotions in check. It is always best to not be frustrated when training, instead, be calm and patient. In time, you will find that your self-confidence radiates down from your body to your horse. With sufficient practice, timing and patience, you will soon find your horse able and willing to learn from you.
The secret to this is not rocket science. The facts to know before training is important to know and training means a lot of things and different strategies in handling.
