The lion is considered the king of the jungle and for very good reasons. The lion lives in what is called prides, where several females live and breed among the alpha male lion(s). The female lions are the bread winner in this outfit as they are the ones who have to go out, hunt and kill the prides dinner. The males are responsible for protecting the kill from being taken by other predators such as those laughing hyenas. The female lions hunt in tactical packs which will secure a large kill easily.
Speaking of the devil and here they are. Hyenas are not sharp hunters though and mostly rely on stealing kills or cleaning up rotting carcasses left behind. But when they do put on that hunting cap, they do it together in one big laughing brawl.
Don’t take these bottled nose water bunnies simple. They are quite intelligent creatures and their tactical hunting style proves it. There are so many species of ants sharing this planet with us, and they all share the same common traits. They go hunting for food. Ants live together in colonies with the queen being at the helm. Just like the bee’s hierarchy. You have workers, hunters, soldier’s etc. The hunters go out in mass numbers and will kill and conquer any insect in their path.
Orcas live in groups which are called pods. These large sea creatures have a good social environment. Each pod may have up to 40 Orcas.
