Donkey
The faithful donkey was the chosen medium of transport by Christ when he was leaving his home to enter the City of Jerusalem. The donkey is a symbol of strong will and everlasting determination. The people of Jerusalem saw Jesus coming on the humble animal and laid down palms and even their own clothes at the feet of the donkey’s path until Jesus descended from the animal.
Pigs
Not the most liked animal back in the days of Christ. I feel sorry for the stigma that the pig has gotten from the day Jesus had cast the demons inside them and then commanded the pigs to run and jump off a cliff into the sea where they all drowned. This is part of the reason why many people believe pigs are unclean animals.
Fish
Many men earned their wages doing fishing in the days of Jesus, but it is said that Jesus was the fisher of men. The fish has two significant mentions in the Bible. One mention is when Jesus too the two loaves of bread and the five loaves and two fishes and blessed them to feed the multitude of people who had followed him to listen to his teachings. Jesus also met with peter the fisherman who had told him that he was unable to catch any fish. Jesus then took the boat out with them and commanded them to place their nets in an area and behold, the nets could not hold all the fishes that were caught.
