Cats Supernatural Powers

For many cat owners, we have all heard the story and sayings about how mystifying and supernatural cats are. Black colored cats have always been paired with witchcraft, magic and even bad luck. It is of very strong believe if you ask any cultist they will tell you that cats have the power to see and sense evil. Follow me and let us venture a little into a secret world, a world where Cats Supernatural Powers are widely known.
Cat Predict EarthquakeCat Supernatural Powers
1. Cat Earth Quake Prediction
If you want to know when the next rumble will happen, you can consult your cat. For centuries it has been believed that cats know when an earthquake will hit long before any humans do. So how do our feline friends can predict such a devastating event and we as complex and intelligent human beings are unable to? Many cat observers notice that the cats behavior always changes before an earthquake hits. They notice sometimes a withdrawn or uneasy behavior stemming from the cat.  There is no scientific proof of this behavior tied to predicting earthquakes, however t
he closest thing to scientific proof was an experiment conducted by a California geologist in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Jim Berkland predicted two earthquakes in California by tracking lost pet ads in the newspapers. Berkland's theory was that cats who knew there was a disaster on its way would run away from home to escape the coming catastrophe, and increased lost cat notices on the two occasions led him to predict the earthquakes. Yet even with experiments like Berkland's on the books and with cat families' testimonies, science continues to be skeptical.

2. Cats Can Predict When You Are Pregnant
Cats have an in tune ability to know before the expecting mother or father that a new child is coming. How? I believe since cats are psychic they can see deeper than us humans and can sense life in the smallest possible form. Many women before they knew they were pregnant have reported that suddenly their cats begin to stick to them like a sheep dog protecting its flock. Where ever they go the cat would be either predicting where they are going such as run to the bathroom door and sit and just wait. They have been known to also climb up on pregnant mommy's tummy and just curl up and sleep. It is as though they are protecting someone, an unborn child perhaps!

3. Cats Can Predict Death

This is a certainty, the cat eyes see more than just our Three dimensional world and can easily see the spirit world. The fact is that once we are born, we are stamped like cattle and given a birth certificate which is a stock bond. We are then given a mark for death. That mark is kind of like an expiration date on our three (3d) physical bodies. Once any human is approaching their expiration date, your cat will sense that you will soon be departing this world.  People are usually marked for death by the angel of death himself which many of us call the grim reaper. If your time on earth will expire soon, you will see your cat becoming quite clingy also. He/She will exhibit more chatter with you and even may become a bit depressed.

4. Cats Know When You Have Cancer
Yes, the power of the pet continues to baffle even doctors today. Cats have been widely known to save many owners life by detecting health issues in them before the owner or the doctor. How is the question many have asked. Well, many times if we pay close attention to out pets we will know when they are trying to speak to us. If they could open their mouth and speak English i am sure that we would know things about our body and this earth that may startle, shock or amaze us. When cats predict certain illnesses such as say a breast cancer, cats will try and get our attention to the area that has the illness by either focusing on that area, keeps on pawing on that area or possible try to always lie on that area. Many cats will do a little meow when they are near that ill area to let us know that something is wrong. It is for us to just pay attention.

Our feline friends are more than just our pets, our buddies. They are our family, our protectors at times and many times our life savers.

So how much do you know about your fury feline. Yes we know your pet is cute, awesome, adorable and loves tuna, but do you know any true cat facts. Well sit back, grab a tuna sandwich and cozy up beside your cat and eat and gain some cool cat facts.

1. Please paw me that cup!

Which hand or paw do you believe is the dominant paw of your cat? Did you ever sit to observe which paw is mostly used once they are single pawing? Well guess what, cats are either left pawed or right pawed. They will show preference of one paw over the other.

2. You may be able to bet on your cat
A strong and healthy cat s reach top speeds of up to 35 miles per hour, the problem is that it will not be long lived. After around 45 seconds that high speed cat will eventually slow down and probably need a touch of energy drink to give her back wings.

3. Get out of her Space
Talking about being a bully for real estate, geesh. Normally domestic cats territory would encompass approximately 100- 150 acres. So if you believe that your home is yours, you may be the victim of a sinister plot by your cat to have your named removed from that house title and turn your home into a cat's sanctuary.

4. RUN! The Cat-aliens are coming!
Did you know cats actually come from another planet? Well a long time a go in the feline galaxy, there was this great empire called Caton. Ok, i will stop myself before i venture into another one of my scifi cat stories. But cats have special antennas called whiskers which are used to navigate, judge the width of an opening and to detect movement. Yep, those are some really powerful whiskers if you ask me. So move over my favorite martian, make way for my favorite whiskers!

5. Did someone awake feline beauty?
Talk about getting in zose zeez. Zats Zets A Zot Zof Zees. I bet your tongue got twisted with those zees!. Anyway, a healthy mature cat spends about 12-15% of its felinish life in deep sleep. healthy mature cat spends about 15% of its life in deep sleep. But guess what the bugger is, when you want to catch some good shut eye that is the time your cat wants to tango. Since they are mostly nocturnal, most of those sleep times are during the day.

6. Something Stinks Around Here!
Did you know that cats have 200 million odor sensitive cells in their tiny noses? While humans have only 5 million cells. So if you decide to not have a bath in say, a week or so and you see you cat avoiding you you know that his nose knows and its time to grab a bath. Also because of your cats sensitive nose, it is not recommended to where high concentrated colognes or strong air freshener around the home. You may notice you cat sneezing on uncontrollably because of this.

7. Did Some one say Bionic?
If there are any readers here as old as i am would know about the movie called the million dollar man. He had bionic abilities. Well, i am sure nothing on my fury feline will ever cost a million bucks, yet still she is somewhat bionic. Cats have amazing hearing powers, in fact, study shows that cats can hear up to 100, 000 Hertz. Compare that to humans lame 20,000 hertz! They even beat my canine friend Venom who can hear up to 40,000 hertz. So the next time you plan on giving your cat a bath and if you know she hates bathing, don't even whisper it, as no doubt she will hear  that whisper and you will have a hard time getting her down from the chandelier.

8. Oh  Feline, What a odd toes you have.
The better to touch you with my dear. Did yo know that cats have four toes on their back paws and five on the front paws. There are however cases where you will find cats that are polydactyl. Polydactyl simply means have more than normal. People with eleven or twelve tentacles, i mean fingers or toes are considered polydactyl. Cats that also have more than the required toes are also called mitten or thumb cats.

American Curl
American Curl
Cornish Rex
American Curl
The first thing you will notice when you look at an American Curl Cat is it's unusual ears. The ears are curled back from the face area towards the center of the back of the skull. If you are used to cats with regular ears, once you see an American curl cat it will look quite abnormal to you. The American curl's ears must be handled delicately in order to prevent any damages to the cartilage in the air. This cat's origin came from what many say was a "Spontaneous mutation" in Lakewood California.

Weight range:
Male: medium: 8-12 lbs.
Female: small: <8 lbs.

Cornish Rex
The Cornish Rex has distinctive large ears set high on a relatively small egg-shaped head. These cats also have high, hallowed cheekbones, a high-bridged Roman nose and a strong chin. The body of the average Cornish Rex is long, slender and muscular, with long thin legs. Their fur lacks guard hairs so the coat is very short and incredibly soft with a "washboard" appearance. Rexes come in up to 42 color variations.

weight: 6 - 10 pounds
Devon Rex
Devon Rex
Devon Rex
This cute little short haired cat stemmed from England during the 1960's. It is quite an intelligent little critter and is actually known by its slender body, wavy coat and very large ears. If you are looking for a circus cat, this one has got to be it as it is capable of grasping very difficult tricks and responds well to instructions.  They are even known to recognize their owner's name, just as they do their own.

Male Devon Rex cat is 8 - 10 lbs (3.5 - 4.5 kg) and for a female Devon Rex cat is 5 - 8 lbs (2.0 - 3.5 kg).
Munchin Cat
Muchkin
Munchkin
This is a relatively new breed of cat characterized by its very short legs, which are caused by a naturally occurring genetic mutation. Much controversy erupted over the breed when it was recognized by The International Cat Association in 1995 with critics voicing concern over potential health and mobility issues.
Male Munchkins typically weigh between 6 to 9 pounds (3–4 kg) and are usually larger than female Munchkins, which typically weigh between 4 to 8 pounds.

Singapura
This is one of the smallest breeds of cats, noted for its large eyes and ears, brown ticked coat and blunt tail. Reportedly established from three "drain cats" imported from Singapore in the 1970s, it was later revealed that the cats were originally sent to Singapore from the US before they were exported back to the US. Investigations by the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) concluded no wrongdoing and the Singapura kept its status as a natural breed.
