One problems which many cat owners will face is their cat having urinary problems. Cats may face urinary problems because of urinary tract infection or bladder stones. These two are most common causes, but tumors and anatomical abnormalities of the urinary tract are also rare causes. You will need to observe you cat for symptoms of your cat having any form of Urinary problems. Lets look at some of the symptoms include:

  1. Cat Straining to Urinate
  2. Cat experiencing pain when urinating - This may result in the cat licking itself to relieve pain or burning sensations.
  3. Cat urinates a lot
  4. Cat urine contains blood
  5. Trickling when urinates

The cat having a urine infection is not pleasant at all for the animal and will experience discomfort when relieving itself. All is not lost, you can always take your precious feline to the vet and let the vet administer antibiotics or you can use natural home remedies to help treat and even prevent your cat from developing urinary problems.
How To Prevent Your Cat From Having Urinary Infections

Ensure that Your Cat Drinks Enough Water
If you want you feline to have a healthy and clean bladder.  I would recommend that when you do give your cat water, ensure that it is fresh, clean and filtered.

Feed Your Moist Meals - Canned Food
If you cant feed your cat natural raw food, it is best to feed the cat good quality canned food. When you feed your cat too much dried food, the cat is not able to get enough water into it system. If your cat is one which shies away from the water bowl, it is best to have your cat on a moist healthy diet such us canned foods which have high liquid content.

Herbal Pet Remedies
There are actually some very good herbs which has existed for centuries which people use on themselves for urinary infections can also be used on your cat.  Most of the natural remedies have natural antibiotic and healing properties that are even much more effective and safer than drugs administered. The natural remedies are able to kill bacteria in the bladder and promotes a better and more efficient feline urinary system. Many natural remedies also suppress inflammation and destroys bacteria.

Recommended Supplements
If your cat is suffering from a feline bladder infection, try giving him between 250 and 500 milligrams of vitamin C every day.  Vitamin C is a natural anti-inflammatory that helps to relieve the pain of a cat bladder infection.  It helps an irritated, inflamed bladder to heal itself, too.

Cat owners are always seeking to buy the most healthy foods for their cat. Most  Cats are fed dry foods, semi dry and rarely fed raw or natural cat food. Cats who consume processed cat foods for extensive period of time may end up with poor oral health, while cats which enjoy a diet of natural raw food shows better oral health. There are institutions which discourage feeding your cat natural foods as they say it is risk of  cat salmonella poisoning to both the cat and household family members. But lets take a look at this health risk in its naturality. Cats are felines and come from the family of other cats such as Tigers, Lions, Leopards and jaguars just to name a few. They are natural born hunters and their diet consist of raw natural foods. Cats are no different, they possess natural bowel activities which are needed to break down raw meats and bones.
Best Natural Cat food

The Many Health Advantages of Raw Whole Foods

  • A natural scrubbing and flossing action upon teeth and gums
  • Clean, strong, white teeth and strong jaws
  • Healthy, pink gums
  • A reduction, or even elimination, of 'kitty breath'
  • Improved overall oral health
  • Increased digestibility of meals
  • Smaller, more compact, less smelly and completely biodegradable stools
  • Greater bio availability of naturally occurring nutrients and enzymes in raw, unground, uncooked meat, organs and bones.
  • Mental, psychological and physical stimulation that increases vitality, while positively influencing your pet’s overall quality of life

So many cats have been feed a steady diet of canned or kibbled pet “food” for quite a while , that today an unprecedented number of cats  are developing tooth and gum disease. And because a cat with poor oral health harbors a mouthful of unhealthy bacteria, this is a major contributing factor to a host of other, more serious health issues and diseases. So called chronic stinky ‘kitty breath’ is not just unpleasant, it’s a signal that a cat is not being fed properly. Feeding a prey model diet, which is based on whole, raw meaty bones and carcasses, often reduces or even eliminates this problem.

Remember Cats are natural born predators, no matter how nice and cozy they are to us as pets. Their natural diet is raw and natural meats. Protect the health of your cat by allowing your cat to do what is simply natural.

Just do a little research on the Bengal cat diet. But just a tip for the road. Try to avoid cat foods which contain the following ingredients:
  • Corn
