A Meow Poem

I left my little kitty drinking milk from a bowl while hanging from the roof, I asked her how,
All she replied and said was meow
I bought her a new toy to keep her busy while i blogged, the ball went missing, i asked her how
She purred and butted my foot with her head and said, meow
Well, it is now grooming time, i couldn't find the brush to groom her fur
Then i saw her bouncing it around the floor, then she stopped, looked at me and purr
She is always hungry, i know she wants food by the way she wiggles her tail
one wiggle is for a nip of tuna, two for sardines, and five for a whale
When i sit she sometimes jumps up and curls in my lap and falls a sleep
Taking her little cat naps, while i feel her tiny heart beat

My cat and me, we are like two lonely outlaws
but if there was ever to be a standoff, she is always quick on the paws
But sometimes she has her own way, and makes my ranch look so mad
scratching on the walls instead of her scratch pad
But oh hell, i can forgive that
She is the only one i have, my black and white cat
She has been pretty quiet all week, i wonder why
Maybe she is jealous because i petted another cat, probably thinks she is goodbye
Come here my little precious, you i will never replace, you are forever mine
my tuna loving friend, my sneaky feline
