Indoor cats are like the married men of today. They natural live longer but suffer in excitement and adventure.  Any animal locked away from being what it naturally is suppose to be will live longer in a controlled setting. But may suffer from deep anxiety and depression later in life. But lets take a comparison table and look at the happiness factor of indoor vs outdoor cat.
