Cat Hunting Mouse
So how many of you are old enough to remember the Tom and Jerry cartoon? Tom the cat was always seen chasing Jerry the Mouse. But somehow the mouse seemed to be always getting the better of Tom Cat as the cartoon depicts the cat being outwitted by the little mouse. But in reality, this is certainly not how things go. Cats are quite agile and swift and are great animals to have around if you really want to get rid of mice.  Cats have been the nemesis of mice for centuries. They have been used in cities and especially on farms to get rid of mice plaguing growing grains and even grains in storage.  Any area where you have an abundance of waste, food and water at some point will have mice infestation.

Mice will find any habitat favorable for living which has enough food, garbage and water nearby, they will eventually breed and breed in magnificent proportions. This excessive reproduction of Mice can only truly be curtailed if they have a natural predator such as a Cats to feed on them or chase them away. Even in personal spaces such as your household. You may find yourself being visited by a couple mice now and then while some may have taken up residence somewhere within your home or yard and have begun to raise a couple hundred children too.  This is certainly unhygienic and any home owner would certainly want to get rid of mice visiting or living in their home.

Domesticated cats are not far off from their wild counterparts such as the tiger or lion. They are natural predators with natural instincts for hunting and catching small or large preys. Cats are equipped with all the necessary tools needed to chase and catch mice. They have sharp canines, sharp claws, speed and agility. They are most certainly the best option to use instead of lacing your home with poison which may end up being eaten by other animals or even your household pet.
There is too much hassle in setting traps all over the place to catch one mouse at a time, then comes the nasty clean-up of these gadgets. Using cats to get rid of mice is by far the best option available. Cats are programmed to chase mice. They will always run after anything that moves and of course is quite smaller than them. Some cats will even chase a mouse, catch it and use it to play with until the mouse eventually stops moving, (dead) then the cat simply loses interest in the mouse because it is not enjoyable anymore.

Yes, cats love to chase mice. That chasing will be benefit for you as this chase will likely lead to one less mouse to worry about.
