7 Reasons Why Your Dog Eats Food Away From Bowl

Stop dog from taking away his food and eating away from Bowl
If there is one thing me and my dogs have in common is that we just love food. Cold food, warm food, food food. We just love to eat. But have you ever placed food in your dog's eating bowl and notice that your dog takes packets of that food in mouth and then moves away from the bowl and goes somewhere else to eat? Why would your dog take away his food elsewhere to eat and not eat it from that fancy bowl you bought for him? Well, after observing dogs doing this for a while, these are my own theories.
1. Dog hates the Bowl
  • You may not believe it, but your dog can have a preference to what he wants to eat from. The animal may just have been having nightmares about the bowl coming to life and running away with his food. So hence he chooses to secure some before the bowl runs away.

2. Doesn't Like Where He is Being Fed
  • The dog may not appreciate the area being fed and may grab up a few foods in his mouth and find that nice spot where he feels comfortable devouring his food.

3. Just Natural ancestral Instincts
  • In the wild after wolves would hunt and take down meat. The lesser wolf would drag away his portion of the meat to avoid getting into fights with other wolves who may end up taking it away. It is a form of feeding security. This behavior could have passed down genetically.

4. Bowl Too Hard To Eat From
  • Ensure that any dog bowl you buy for your dog is large enough for your dog mouth to comfortable maneuver its food inside it.

5. Dog Bowl Too Noisy
  • Metal bowls and metal on dog collars will cling and clang and create not so pleasant music to your dog's ear. To avoid this clinging and clanging, the dog moves his food elsewhere to a quieter atmosphere.

6. Dog is a Stingy Eater
  • The dog maybe a stingy eater and chooses to take parcels of food away so it may seem as though his meal is extra plenty and last longer.

7. Scared of Choking
  • If the dog is a gulper and probably have gulped down a few dry dog food and ends up nearly choking. That experience may be fresh in his mind each time he eats food from that bowl. Hence he chooses to take his food away in small amounts to avoid another experience.
How To Stop Dog Eating Food Away from Bowl
Every dog behavior modification will take a little time and everything goes in stages. If you want to stop this you will have to go through the processes one step a time and use the process of elimination. You can start by for example, changing his feeding area, then observe the happening. Replace metal with thick good plastic, get a new bowl with good eating dimensions etc.  Just be patient with your dog and implement the strategies one step at a  time for best results.

Dog Prayers
Dog prayer for when dog dies.
1. Wagging in Heaven

Dear father, how thankful we are for the love and blessings you have bestowed upon us.
We/I stand before you today as my precious dog has passed away
I ask you lord, please prepare that special place in heaven for my friend

I know he is with you because I do believe all dogs go to heaven
He/She has been my life long companion and a remarkable friend
The love this dog had given symbolizes that of a truthful soul
He/she is gone, now there is a void where that bark used to be

Now all I have is an empty bowl, and a useless leach
But even though the loss hurts, knowing he/she is in heaven brings joyous relief
I will miss all he/she did, the tailing wagging, rolling and everything that made him dog
Now he is on a different journey, being led by the true owner almighty God
Goodbye my pooche, I know you are in a better place now
But we will meet again, later on somehow.
2. Sleeping With Angels

No more sounds of barks, that filled my ears with joy which I will forever miss. Now you have ascended to a greater place to be in heaven with angels.
But now your bark will echo through the pearly white gates and beyond
My beautiful pet, my forever companion.
Your new home, you new doggy bed lies beside the feet of angels
Where wings are given.

I ask father, care and guide this beautiful soul
A pure heart like the streams that flow
Wrap him in your bosom lord
Comfort him, so let it be
for we are just temporarily separated, but time will bring us back together, where we shall forever be.

Goodbye my friend, go bark with the ringing of heaven bells
I will sleep and dream of you, while you are sleeping with angels.

3.Dear God

Wrap him in your bosom
Comfort his soul in your home
You are the king of all kings
You are he that sits on the everlasting throne

Care for him lord
Make him an happy angelic dog
because all things are possible with God
He is good dog, a wonderful friend, a happy spirit
Now the trumpets sound and dogs receive their wings, so angelic

Now he has gone and the pasture of light welcomes his paws
Go forth now my canine pal, in the arms of the almighty Lord

We will forever honor and celebrate the life of a friend
A soul we will remember to the very end.

4. Whispers of a Canine

Dear Blessed Father
Thank you for life, thank you for friends
Thank you for this beautiful dog that once lived among men
His sounds bought charm and happiness to those whom he loved
and whom loved him
But today as we say farewell to our good pal
We hold strong the wonderful presence he ah
Now those barks have become whispers
Whispers of a kind and caring soul entering the gates of heaven

We pray that those whispers of love massages the ear and hearts
As those whispers are soft words of tranquility
Sleep now, but rise in the afterlife as the angels bring you towards a peaceful eternity.

Dog Prayer Conclusion.
Using these prayers is not something which any dog owner looks forward to. But you can use these dog prayers for when a dog dies and customize it to pray for your dog specifically.

6 Sure Ways to Tell if Your Dog Loves You

The hope or dream of most dog owners is that their dog will love them back as much as how much they love that dog. But how do you know when your dog loves you? What does your dog do to show that he loves you? That my friend is quite easy to see. Dogs don't hide and bottle up their emotions like many of us humans. They let it rip and they feel happy about their expressions. Here is my list of how to tell your dog loves you.
1. Happy To See You
Have you ever left the home for a long period of time, say go to grab a bite in town or just left to go to work, then when you do come back home your dog is doing kart wheels at your feet. Excessive tail wagging and barking off its head to celebrate your return? This is an absolute sign that your dog loves you and is quite excited to see the person he loves return home to him.

2. They Come For Comfort
Dogs, just like us humans have emotions and feelings. If you are ever sitting down and notice your dog just comes rubbing on you are nudging your hands with its head, it is a sign that the animal loves and trust you and simply want to be petted by you. Dogs will not solicit petting from any and everybody. Just those persons who are close to it and who the dog loves.

3. They Become Sad When You are Down
Dogs have great 6 sense and can feel what is happening with you. They know when your spirit is down or even if you are very ill. Once they sense this, they will also have a drop in their emotions. To share the emotions of others is definitely a sure way to tell if your dog loves you.

4. They Try To make You Happy
You wake up and your dog brings you your slippers and a wet newspaper. If the dog could, it would have made your coffee in the morning along with toast and eggs. Whenever your dog tries to do stuff to make you happy, you know that your dog is in love with you.

5. They Bark at The Mail Man
They are showing you that not only do they bring you your shoes, they are trying their best to prevent the mail man from delivering all the IOU's which are pouring in from debt collectors. Shutting out debt is a sure way to tell your dog loves you.

6. Licking Your Face Endlessly
No, it is not because you just ate barbecue wings and have gravy on your lips. It is because dogs use licking as a way to show their affection to other dogs and to us humans. It's is their way of saying, "My saliva is your saliva. Love you for life."
