Mexican Hairless Dog - Xoloitzcuintli
Brief History

The Xoloitzcuintli or Mexican hairless dog as preferred to call by most who simply can’t bother making out the X word, is a dog originating from Mexico. This dog has an interesting story as it is said to be the guardian of the Dead and is seen on pictures and sculptures guarding the entrance for those who has crossed over. The dog got its name from two seperate entities, the first part from two words in the language of the Aztecs: Xolotl, the god of lightning and death, and itzcuintli, or dog.
According to Aztec mythology, the Dog of Xolotl was created by the god to guard the living and guide the souls of the dead through the dangers of Mictlán, the Underworld.
Xoloitzcuinti Breed Variations
The Mexican hairless dogs comes in three variations. The dog breeds in standard, miniature and toy dog size. You can also get this dog as hairless or coated. comes in three sizes: toy, miniature, and standard, and two varieties: hairless and coated.
The Xoloitzcuinti hairless dog skin is smooth, close fitted and tough while it's coated counterpart sports a flat short coat. The color ranges of both variations are the same, ranging from bronze, red, slate, black, liver.
Xoloitzcuinti Dog Breed Nutrition
These dogs do not require any special nutrition which may be different from other dog breeds. The higher the quality the dog food you feed the Mexican hairless dog the better for the animal.  Just as with any other dog breed, ensure that the dog is fed well and fed on time. Do not over feed or underfeed the animal. A standard weight should be maintained at all times. Ensure that the dog has fresh drinking water daily.

Grooming
Dogs without coat require little to no grooming. The coated dogs have very minimal grooming care as short coats are easy to brush and maintain and shedding is at very minimal.  Ensure that the Dogs get their regular bath and the skin is lathered with non irritant dog shampoos. Beyond just bathing and brushing, the dog's nails should also be trimmed. One thing you must remember if you require the hairless breed variation is that it should not be kept in the sun for prolonged periods as this may cause sun burns in the dog.

Health
Xolos are normally healthy animals. The Xolo Dog Breeder must screen their dogs for certain conditions such as Luxation, Hip Dysplasia, Eye disorders and Patellar.
  • Luxation:  Means 'out of place' or 'dislocated'. Luxating patella is a kneecap that moves out of its normal location. Dog owners may notice a skip in their dog's step or see their dog run on three legs. Then suddenly they will be back on all four legs as if nothing happened.
  • Hip Dysplasia: In dogs, hip dysplasia is an abnormal formation of the hip socket that, in its more severe form, can eventually cause crippling lameness and painful arthritis of the joints. It is a genetic  trait that is affected by environmental factors.
  • Eye Disorder: Look out for any common eye disorder in your Xolo breed. Some common eye disorders in dogs include:
  1. Blepharospasm.
  2. Cherry Eye.
  3. Corneal and Scleral Wounds.
  4. Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS) or Dry Eye
  5. Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
  6. Glaucoma.
  7. Cataracts
  8. Entropion.

  • Patellar: The patella is a small bone located in front of the knee joint — where the thighbone (femur) and shinbone (tibia) meet. It protects the knee and connects the muscles in the front of the thigh to the tibia.

Hellhound Demon Dog
Hell-hound Demon Dog
For many normal people who have normal dogs, it is not that difficult to care for and nurture that animal. After all, dogs are just like us humans right? They need nutritional food, clean water, love, doctor’s visit, exercise and just about the basic needs of the physical being. But what about those people who own dogs that are not of this realm. Dogs that are powerful, supernatural and can be even considered demonic. If you are the owner of a hell hound, then that dog care will be quite different and you the hell-hound owner will have to dabble into the dark side of dog ownership to ensure that your dog is properly cared for.
How to Identify Your Dog Is a Hellhound
Dogs wrapped in the bosom of hell has certain characters to look out for. As a hellhound dog owner, you will notice that your hellish breed as burning red eyes, super strength, extremely fast, pitch black fur and of course ghostly characteristics such as disappearing at will and vanishing through walls. If you notice any three of these characteristics within you canine, chances are it is a demon dog. Note well that the hellhound is a Bearer of Death and one should be careful when having the dog around friends, children or family members.

What Does Hellhounds Feed On?
When you plan on feeding you demon dog, you must put it in the back of your mind that it is not a regular dog and will not appreciate or enjoy a bag of dried dog food filled with rice and soya beans. The hellhound is a soul ripping and fresh flesh gnawing beast and should be fed such to keep its energy and powers at optimal level. Ensure that you feed the animal live human on a regular basis. The live human contains a soul and just about everything which will excite the dog when feeding. The hellhound enjoys when its meals scream in agony and suffer with fear before dyeing. If possible, find humans that are of the most evil kind as the beast enjoys the sweetness of these poor sinners flesh more.

Health and Fitness
As the owner of a Bearer of Death, Cerberus, Black Chuck, Dip, or any other Demonic Dogs. You don’t have to worry about the health of these Phantom like beast. They take care of their own health. You will not be faced with expensive vet bills as these dogs will never get ill. If for some strange reason these dogs do become ill, their true master will take them to the pits of the eternal fire and they will be reborn just as strong or stronger than before. These dogs will not be plagued with ticks, fleas or any other parasites which love regular dogs.

The Hellhound requires a lot of exercise but that is really not up to you. The dog can traverse between the dream and physical world and in the dream world can run between dimensions. This running between dimensions equates to a normal dog running along the four corners of the Earth four times in one day.

Life Span
If you are worrying about your demon dog dying on you, you can certainly forget that one. Records have shown that owners of Hellhounds never outlive their canine pals. As a matter of fact, one hellhound has had thousands of owners from its conception. The reason is that the hellhound does not age nor was it birth. It was spawned from the depths of the everlasting fire. Therefor age is not a factor of these great beast.

Love and Care
If you own a demon dog, your best bet at your dog not turning on you is to adore, fear and worship it. This means that you have to provide for its every needs and wants and must approve of its devilish activities, including soul sucking. Despite it being a phantom, the dog will still care for a few pets and rubs every now and then once it has ripped apart someone’s flesh or soul and is simply exhausted and needs comfort. Pet the dog every now and then to affirm with the animal that you love it and you always care.

Having a hellhound as your pet is not bad as many people think. You don’t have to spend any money on this kind of dog. This dog makes excellent guard dogs and does not shed or need grooming, or exercise. More dog owners should look and take home these breed of dogs and live long agonising lives with their faithful companion.

Getting Your Dog Bite Settlement With Personal Injury Lawyer

Dog Bite Settlement
Dog Bite Settlement
Dogs make nice pets, but the truth of the matter is that dogs alo bite people. Whether the dog is provoked or the dog simply had a bad upbringing and behaves aggressive towards people and other dogs. Sometimes dog owners also get careless in handling dogs bred to be aggressive and the dog ends up biting someone. This dog bite can lead to the dog owner being dragged before the courts to pay money which is time consuming. But many times, dog bite claims can be settled by lawyers before the case reaches the courts.

In most cases,  the dog owner and the injured person fundamentally agree about what happened, who is at fault or who stands liability, and the extent of the resulting injuries and losses ("damages"), then a dog bite case can settle without a lawsuit even being filed. This is called the dog bite settlement.
Benefits of Out of Court Dog Bite Settlement

Many people prefer to settle their claim outside of a trial. The benefits of doing so include:
  • A faster resolution. Settling outside of a trial will allow the victim to put the incident in the past and have closure a lot sooner than if it went to trial.
  • A faster financial recovery. Because the case will be over more quickly, the money owed to the victim will be paid sooner than if it went to trial.
  • Greater control over the outcome. Settling the claim outside of trial will allow the victim to have greater certainty of the amount to be recovered—and will avoid the risks of a jury trial.

Ensure Your Claim Has Proper Documentation
Dog Bite Claims May Settle Before a Lawsuit is FiledIf the dog owner and the injured person fundamentally agree about what happened, who is at fault ("liability"), and the extent of the resulting injuries and losses ("damages"), then a dog bite case can settle without a lawsuit even being filed.
This usually means that:
  • the injuries are minor or at least not susceptible of worsening over time
  • the injured person did not have any pre-existing injuries that the dog bite may have aggravated
  • the party who did not properly restrain or control the dog was indisputably the only person at fault, and
  • the at-fault party was covered by insurance at the time of the accident. (Learn more about insurance and dog bite incidents.)
This kind of "clear liability" dog bite case still must be supported by evidence of liability and damages, which means:
  • written statements from eyewitnesses
  • photos of the incident scene, the dog on or off leash, any open fences or gates through which the dog may have escaped, and injuries
  • medical treatment records
  • medical bills
  • estimates and/or receipts for any other losses, and
  • proof of lost earnings for any work absences caused by the incident.

What Does “Fair” Include?A fair settlement is one that compensates you for your injuries, taking into account:
  • The compensation allowed by law. You may recover for your medical expenses, lost income, and other past, current, and reasonably anticipated future expenses that you incurred as a result of the dog bite.
  • The quality of the evidence available and the likelihood of your success at trial. You will have to prove not only that you were bitten but also the extent of your injuries in order to be able to recover damages.
  • Other things, such as any savings you may incur from not having to go to trial, your willingness to pursue a recovery, and the insurance company’s willingness to settle out of court should also be considered.
