Small dogs are adorable little things. They are like a living stuffed toy. Children love them, they are easy to maintain and can easily be transported. As a matter of fact, ladies with large handbags can even fit these small beauties in when traveling. Here are some of the more famous and highly sought after small dog breeds.
Cockapoo
Say what, what pooed? Not much a brilliant name they gave this little cutie. A Cockapoo is a designer dog. It is the cross of an American Cocker Spaniel or English Cocker Spaniel and a poodle. In essence it is high hybrid.  A nice little designer dog that is very kids friendly and blends well with other small dogs. It is believed that this dog is also quite intelligent. 

Cockapoos also vary in color:
  • Black
  • Tan, beige, or buff
  • Red, including auburn and apricot colors
  • Brown, varying from light to dark
  • Sable, a brown color with tipping and shading in black
  • Cream
  • White
  • Silver
  • Brindle
  • Roan
  • Merle (commonly-blue, brown, shades mixed with white or cream)

Normally you would find the dog with either a mix of two or three colors. If you are seeking a nice and affectionate dog that even loves to be around kids. This little beauty is a must.

butterfly like look of the long and fringed hair on the ears. The papillon also makes a great companion, it is great around family and children and is also easily maintained. The temperament of a papillon is a happy, friendly and adventurous dog.  The papillon has straight coat, long, fine, single layered Color White with patches of anything but silver.

Not very good with kids, this dog does amazingly well with cats. The dog requires lots of grooming.

He is a very  feisty breed and thinks that the world probably resolves around his cuteness. The Frise loves to play with his owner and just about any other human willing to play. The Bichon Frise is tolerant of other dogs and is just too friendly for comfort. It has pure white coat, medium length. soft silky texture with corkscrew curls.
